POSC 39063 Interviews and Ethnography in Political Science
Prerequisites: POSC 20093. This course introduces you to two related qualitative research methodologies--interview research and ethnography--as used in social sciences in general and in political science in particular. Although these two research methodologies differ in a number of important way, what unites them is that in order to use both techniques well, the researcher is required to have long, open-ended conversations with research subjects.
