POSC 31513 Gender and American Politics
This course examines how the political system, through the policies it establishes and enforces, affects those who identify as female and their families. It also examines the role of gender and sexuality in the political arena itself. The course considers what public policy is and how sex, gender, and sexuality impact legal, political, and social rights.
