NURS 30441 Resilient Clinical Nurse
Prerequisites: Students must be entering their Junior I semester of nursing school or have special permission from the instructor. This is an introduction to skills that foster resiliency in healthcare workers. We will explore major concepts of resiliency in healthcare, personal awareness, adaptation to stress, values and burnout, empathy, mindfulness meditation/mindfulness in daily living, self-compassion
practices, and other strategies to deal with difficult emotions.
