NURS 30251 Geriatric Nursing Resources II
Prerequisites: NURS 10303, 20263, 20271, 30263 & 30182/30171, and 30241. This is a companion course with NURS 30582 Adults Health Alt. I: Clinical intended to continue to enhance learning about geriatric nursing care. This directed study will address the complex nursing care issues of older adults. The multifaceted concepts of aging, the physiologic and psychosocial changes and challenges associated with the process, and the appropriate nursing interventions will be discussed.
