NURS 30241 Geriatric Nursing Resources I
Prerequisites: NURS 20263, 20271, and 10303. This is a companion course with NURS 30182 Foundations of Nsg Care: Clinical intended to enhance their learning about geriatric nursing care. This lecture with integrated lab will address the complex nursing care issues of older adults. The multifaceted concepts of aging, the physiologic and psychosocial changes and challenges associated with the process, and the appropriate nursing interventions will be discussed.
