COMM 40123 Internship
Prerequisite: COMM majors/minors only, or permission of department; complete 15 hours in Communication Studies; junior or senior standing; COMM 10123 or COMM 10163 with a C- or better; combined GPA of 2.5 in COMM 20113 and 20223; COMM 30163 with a C- or better or permission of instructor. Participation in professional internship experience approved by course instructor. Online forums and writing assignments focus on analysis of communication observations and issues in professional environments. May be repeated up to six hours, with unique employer placements. For BS degree, only three hours qualify for credit toward the 3-course, 40000-level departmental requirement.
