ITAL 30093 Societa`Italiana: The Mosaic of Contemporary Italy
Prerequisites: ITAL 20063 (or equivalent) with a grade of C- or better, or permission. Through the study and analysis of themes and constructs that range from the evolution of gender roles and the family structure to the linguistic richness and variation throughout the Peninsula, students will continue to perfect reading, writing, and speaking skills in the Italian language while developing a profound understanding of the rich, human mosaic that is modern Italy.
