ENGR 40763 Introduction to Structural Dynamics
Prerequisites: ENGR 20613, MATH 30613. Structural excitation and response of vibratory systems including single and multiple degrees of freedom as well as continuous systems. Focuses on understanding and controlling to protect from failure the undesired response of structures (buildings, automobiles, aircraft, machine tools, and more) to the dynamic environments they encounter in actual operations.
