SCIE 10503 Introduction to Scientific Thinking

Prerequisite: A senior high school course in STEM field and Recipient of STEM Scholarship. This course will serve as the first introduction to a college course. In this course, we will critically examine the chemical and physical properties of water, the role water plays in shaping the world, and how water is essential for life. As a class, we will analyze various ways to think about water, including as drinking water, a sanitation mechanism, and an economic resource. The ultimate goal of this class is to help you develop a deeper understanding of water while developing your critical thinking, presentation skills and writing skills.
