PSYC 40290 Advanced Internship in Psychology

Prerequisite: PSYC 40260. This experiential course provides advanced opportunities through volunteer or internship positions that may be paid or unpaid positions. Service environments provide experiential learning opportunities related to leadership, counseling, human resources or other arenas. Students obtain their own positions (assistance is provided by the instructor) and earned credit hours are based on the actual number of clock hours worked (e.g., 3 credit hours requires 150 clock hours of work), attending class 1 hour per week, and completion of all assignments.
