KINE 40713 Global Perspectives in Health: Ireland

Prerequisites: must be a student in Harris College. Permission of instructor(s) and meeting criteria established by the TCU Center for International Studies. TCU cumulative GPA and KINE major GPA of 2.5 or higher, or instructor permission. This course examines the cultures of Ireland in a combined local/international setting. Social and scientific factors as related to health beliefs and practices and health care delivery systems of Ireland will be examined from an interprofessional perspective. Critical analysis of selected topics will be accomplished. Open to all majors in the Harris College. This course will be taught during the spring semester with travel occurring over spring break.
