ENGL 30863 Literature of the Middle East and North Africa
Prerequisites: ENGL 10803 and ENGL 20803 and at least one ENGL/WRIT/CRWT class. This class examines literature from across the Middle East and North Africa, addressing a wide range of topics such as dissent and conformity, religious and secular identity, sex and gender, conflict and reconciliation, etc. Discussions will be grounded in critical race theory & cultural, constructivist approaches to literature. Student cannot receive credit for ENGL
