DANC 20303 Functional Anatomy
Prerequisites: Dance major or permission of instructor. Three hours lecture/movement lab and 1 hour science lab each week. This course presents various scientific tools of movement analysis that supports and facilitates the work of dance professionals. Emphasis will be placed on using scientific
research to develop a greater understanding of the form and function of the body in order to optimize dance-training practices.
