SCIE 30601 Cultural Awareness in Healthcare Capstone
Prerequisites: Senior Standing. This capstone seminar course for the Cultural Awareness in Healthcare (CAH) minor will guide students through a process of synthesis and reflection based on each student¿s unique selection of coursework for the minor. Students will apply their knowledge and skills to the problem of
healthcare disparities (locally, regionally, and globally), demonstrate their ability to engage in collective dialogue, and learn to articulate their cultural competence for their future career in healthcare or related field. This course is intended for all students who have completed a minimum of 15 hours of the CAH minor coursework and are in the final semester(s) of their undergraduate degree plan.
