PEAC 10661 Sailing
This course covers the basics of safe and responsible sailing. Topics include tacking, jibing, upwind and downwind sailing, docking, mooring, crewing, basic knot tying, and rigging and derigging of a sailboat. Students will also learn teamwork, safety procedures, and the management of emergency situations on the water. Class will meet once a week for the entire semester at a sailing facility at a local lake.
