HCOL 41253 Islam and Politics
Prerequisites: Acceptance into the Honors College. Students analyze the pervasive role of Islam in the cultural and political life of the Muslim World via exploration of topics such as Islam and terrorism, Islam and human rights, Islam and the Arab Spring, and the prospects for relations between the Muslim World and the West in an age of globalization and interdependence.
