BIOL 30803 Human Parasitology
Prerequisites: BIOL 10503 or 10513. In this course, human ecto- and endo-parasites will be discussed along with their associated diseases. Students will gain knowledge of parasite life cycle, molecular mechanisms of entry, mechanisms of immune evasion and current and potential therapies. Public health strategies for control and elimination of parasitic diseases will also be explored.
