JOUR 10303 Introduction to Visual Journalism
Prerequisites: Open to Journalism and News and Media Studies majors and minors only. This course will introduce students to video and photography, editing software and the ethical issues of visual journalism. Students will: Shoot and edit video packages, shoot and edit photographs using the principles of the industry, be introduced to the ethical constructs of visual journalism, explore the role of visual journalism in the industry.
