GEOL 30573 Stratigraphy
Prerequisite: GEOL 10113 and/or permission of the instructor. Three hours lecture. An introduction to the practical and theoretical aspects of stratigraphy and depositional systems. This course uses practical examples and field- and literature-based projects to familiarize students with the basic theoretical stratigraphic framework in which geology exists. An off-road field trip will be required.
