FTDM 10143 Introduction to Film and Television Aesthetics
An overview of how motion pictures and television programs can be read and analyzed as complex aesthetic texts. The course is designed to complement and provide a framework for all other FTDM courses. Class combines lecture, discussion and viewing sessions. This course is designed for majors and minors; the minimum acceptable grade is a 2.0 C.
