EDUC 40213 Promoting Literacy Across the Content Areas
Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program,
EDUC 20003,
EDUC 30103, and
EDUC 30013; co-requisite: EDUC 41151. A course designed to acquaint the preservice teachers with strategies which facilitate middle and secondary students' use of reading and writing to learn from informational texts. A component of this course is a field-based practicum.
