Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Adult-Gerontology or Pediatric Post-Graduate APRN Certificate
The certificate requirement for the CNS consists of 20 hours (3 semesters, 1 academic year) including four didactic courses and four precepted practicum courses.
Upon completion, students will be eligible for national certification through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Certification Corporation (Pediatric).

Additional coursework may be required to meet the BON requirements for advanced practice nurses. A student must complete the CNS Certificate program within 2 academic years from the semester they first began course work.
