International Services

International Services, located in the Intercultural Center, generates opportunities for engagement across the campus and community. International Services works within the area of Multicultural and International Services in Student Affairs by generating opportunities for engagement across the campus and community. As one of the primary offices tasked with internationalization, International Services provides programs focusing on geographical, political and cultural diversity as well a cross cultural engagement. The office has primary responsibility for immigration law and the integration of international students into the day-to-day experience of TCU's culture.

Through programs like International Orientation, Global Ex, International Fellows Questa Terra and F-1 Sharp, the office explores cultural transition, intercultural engagement and academic success. The office also works directly with international alumni to keep them involved in the international programming and institutional direction of the University. By engaging TCU students, both U.S. and international, with international former students around the world, we also contribute to TCU’s mission to create "ethical leaders in the global community."

With approximately 600 international students, a global international alumni network, partnerships and collaborations with communities and organizations around the world. International Services is committed to an inclusive idea of access, education and opportunity for everyone.

Community Scholars Program

The Community Scholars Program was established in 2000 to provide students from 13 area high schools the opportunity to compete for scholarships to attend TCU.

This program attracts diverse student populations to the campus. The students selected have achieved academic excellence and demonstrated leadership skills in their schools and communities. More than 150 students are in the program.

Through advising, educational activities, leadership programs, retreats, programming activities and student organizations, the program provides resources to help the scholars successfully transition into the university environment. This program has helped transform the University environment.
