Prerequisite: STCO 11103, 16103, 32403, and 35503. The use of advertising, public relations and marketing principles to create social change by influencing people's attitudes and behavior. Commonly used in public health communication, social marketing tackles societal problems needing behavioral change. Introduces the field of transformative consumer research.
