2017-2018 Undergraduate Catalog

Digital Culture and Data Analytics

The Digital Culture and Data Analytics Minor (DCDA) is an interdisciplinary program designed for students with an interest in how digital technologies shape, analyze and articulate contemporary culture.

Students minoring in digital culture and data analytics complete 21 hours of coursework: four required courses and a choice of three additional courses from an approved list. Students take no more than two courses from any single discipline. A minimum of 9 hours at the upper division is required. Students who minor in digital culture and data analytics must choose whether DCDA-approved courses in their major discipline will count toward the major or the minor. No course may count for both.
